GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning reports to the Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for leadership, supervision, coordination of services, development of professional development, and technical assistance to Clackamas County school district educators.
TEACHING AND LEARNING:
The Clackamas ESD Teaching & Learning team collaborates with regional school districts to help improve student outcomes.
Educators increase their skills through the professional development, consultation and technical assistance we provide.
We also offer an array of contracted services that enhance collaboration and cost savings.
The skills and agility of our team allow us to respond rapidly to changing district needs.
CLACKAMAS EDUCATION SERVICE DISTRICT:
Clackamas Education Service District is one of Oregon's 19 ESDs charged with providing programs for children with special needs, technology support, school improvement, and administrative services to local school districts and the Oregon Department of Education.
Clackamas ESD serves ten school districts in Clackamas County, including Canby, Colton, Estacada, Gladstone, Lake Oswego, Molalla River, North Clackamas, Oregon City, Oregon Trail, and West Linn-Wilsonville.
Essential Functions:
Assists with the supervision, development, design and facilitation of professional development and training in support of ESD and component district professional learning goals Provides leadership and technical assistance to school and district staff in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and personalized learning.
Includes:
Standards prioritization and deconstruction, curriculum alignment, materials adoptions, program evaluation, integration of technology, and other processes in response to student needs and district requests Works collaboratively with ODE, Student Services, School-age Special Education programs, Early Childhood Education, Technical Services, Clackamas Workforce Partnerships (CWP), South Metro/Salem STEM partnership, and component district leadership to develop and deliver aligned instructional programs and supports in the service of equity and all students in Clackamas County Leads the development and oversight of inclusive and culturally sustaining learning initiatives and supports at the direction of the Assistant Superintendent.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Administration/Leadership, or related field Currently holds or ability to immediately obtain an Oregon administrative license At least 3 years K-12 teaching experience Recent successful administrative experience Demonstrated ability to develop sound and cost effective fiscal plans and manage resources For a complete list of minimum qualifications, please see the full job description TO APPLY:

$128,773 - $141,102 DOE.
Salary based on the 2022-23 Salary Schedule.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
