Communicate directly with payers for the purpose of collecting accounts receivable.
Communicate with patients/guarantors regarding account details.
Eligibility verification and facilitation.
Read and interpret EOB's.
Data entry including payment posting.
SKILLS:
Self-directed with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Effective and professional verbal and written communicator.
High level of accuracy.
Critical thinking and independent problem solving.
Must demonstrate compassion, competence and attention to detail.
Experience with Epic EHR preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
6 months experience performing A/R related work.
Must have knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, electronic claims filing, HCFA Claim forms, benefit eligibility verification, etc.
Must be able to pass a background check.
HOURS /
Benefits:
Day shift up to 40 hours/week Monday through Friday.
Wage depending on experience.
This is a benefited position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
