We have an immediate opening for an experienced Die Cast Foundry Process Engineer in our Clackamas, Oregon facility. Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
3 - 5 years' experience in a Die Casting environment
3 - 5 years' experience in process development and maintenance in Die Casting
3 - 5 years' experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and PLC support
3 - 5 years' experience managing a Die cast machine parameter monitoring system
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma desirable
Robotics background desirable
Excellent Teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyze and improve process performance
Design and implement manufacturing processes in a die cast environment.
Perform minimal First Article Inspection duties
Ability to work with, understand and interpret GD&T; prints
Provide support to Manufacturing, Tooling, and Quality Engineer's as needed
Participate in Lean/Kaizen events
Other engineering duties as assigned
